Pie

My first chicken pot pie. I got the cookie cutter idea from a book. It is just made with the left over crust. Everyone loved it. Tyler and Raquel did not even let me cut the hearts.

The Magic House

Tyler's school had another field trip. This time it was The Magic House. His school was there for just a hour or so. We hung around after they left to do the rest of the neat things. The pictures are in the wrong order.

Tyler and Raquel fishing. Once you caught the fish you could take them up stream and watch them swim (float) back. the fish are wooden and had a magnet for a mouth. The stream was in the floor and covered with glass so you could walk with them. Pretty neat.

These are rubber bands on nails.

Raquel would hit the pipes with a bottom of a sandal and make Music (noise)

These are bells with different pitches.

Here you would drop the ball in and it would ring all the bells as it went down.

There was so much to do here that we did not even get half way through the house.

Valentines Day

This year we started some new tradition. We had a valentine dinner (manicotti) and some really good desert. Here are some fun Valentines projects.

The Kids loved doing the bags.

We decided to do flowers made out of suckers and cut out hearts. Tyler made a couple of them then got tired. Next year we will do something more simple. The ones in the cups were made for the ladies I visit teach.


This was for a lady I visit teach also. I got tired of the suckers and did bath salt in a jar then I put a rub-on on it. So quick and easy.
