All Good Things Must Come to an End

T-ball was more then just a fun thing for Jared and I. It was the time that we will always remember as the time Tyler came out of his shell. We have been working hard at breaking his shyness and being so clingy to mom. After a year of work we over came it. It was little by little that he did this but it was through t-ball Tyler was able to gain confidence and courage. Getting out there by his self and everyone watching was a great thing. With some great cheerleaders and fans he came to enjoy it and now he talks to anyone with no problem. I am so grateful for him because I know the challenges of being shy and insecure.
Tyler even ended the season with a big bang. Great job Tyler. Never let fear stand in your way of dreams.

Soccer

Soccer started and I love it. Instead of playing games ever Saturday they do more like a camp routine. They work on skills for about 30 minutes then split into teams and scrimmage the last 30 minutes. Now my kids are actually learning for the fall season. Tyler likes it more then T-ball because it is more running and doing things and less standing and waiting for the ball to come your way or taking turns. lol

For the the actual 4th we went and watch the town fireworks at the Macafee's.
Oh, the joys of being pulled by a lawnmower.
You know it is more fun when you don't have to push to make the scooter go.

The 3rd of July

Tradition here at the Corpron's for the 4th of July is that Daddy puts on the fire work show. Seeing how fire works are legal here (kind of) Jared went all out. When we went to get these Tyler and Jared were like little kids in a candy store. I am sure that all Jared saw when he pick a firework up was how big of an explosion it would make. We let them off over the course of 3 days and a cop only came twice.
Before the show we did a BBQ and roasted marsh mellows the kids love them

Yes, we got the extra big marsh mellows.

The rain came down and the floods came up here in Missouri. When it floods here it mainly hits the rivers and this is the Missouri river. The water rose about 5 feet and this is the result of that. All the loos limbs and trees come tumbling down. It is pushed down stream by the water until it gets stuck and this is the part that got stuck. Where the grass ends is where the bank drops about five feet. I have never seen so much pile up before.

It looks like a big mess to clean up.

Fouth of July Carnival

We took the kids to the Carnival in Historic St. Charles. Yes it was the 2nd of July but it was really cheap that day and on the 4th it was really expensive. The kids loved it. Of course Tyler loves the "really fast" rides and was to little to go by his self so I was the lucky one to hold his hand. I was never into fast rides so Jared got a kick out of watching me. Needless to say it was fun and I made it through with out getting to sick.
This was Raquel's favorite. She just kept going and going and going like the energizer bunny.
