Raquel's Surgery

Little Raquel had her surgery done on her eye while Jared was in Missouri Two weeks ago. She had a clogged tear duck in her right eye. She has made a full recovery and her eye is so pretty now. She looked so cute in her surgery outfit.

Family

My Brother Justin and his family along with my brother Troy came through Utah during there move. We got to hang out with them at the Dinosaur museum. Even though the picture of Raquel and Troy did not turn out that great, Raquel just adores Troy. He sure is her favorite Uncle. Tyler really enjoyed hanging out with his cousins Drew and Owen. It was the first time I got to see Sally too. She is just the cutes little girl.

2. Having the understanding of the gospel. Now that I have a family I understand the gospel at different points of views. And well all I can say is that I am more than excited to be apart of it.

3. Watching my children do something that I have taught them. I have been trying to teach Tyler the rules of crossing the street. To look both ways and to hold my hand. I did not tell Jared I was doing this so when Jared walk across the parking lot with Tyler, Tyler said "No bad, look both ways". I was so proud of him.

Fears:
1. Of losing Jared or one of my children and having to deal with it.
2. Of someone els raising my kids
3. Evil, scary things

Goals:
1. Short term - run a marathon
2. Read the Scriptures befor the end of the year
3. Potty train Tyler and Raquel

Obsessions/Collections:
1. I collect Disney movies and have just about all of them except the ones in the Disney vault
2. Reading. I am reading three different books right know.
3. Dancing with the stars. I don't set time apart each week to watch them but who needs to when you can watch it online when convenient.

Suprising facts:
1. I have gone to 5 different colleges. EAC, Rio Salado, USU, BYU Idaho, and Salt Lake Community.
2. I have been to 3 different continents. North America, South America, and Europe.
3. I named my little girl Raquel after Jared's Elementary crush. (LOL)I really do love the name.

Happy Birthday Raquel

Yesterday was Raquel's First Birthday. She has grown so much. She started walking at 11 months and is just all over the place. We did a little family party for her at the park. It was Disney Princess themed and we had the cutes cake for her. She had so much fun. Jared and I got her a Dora the Explorer TV, (Tyler mainly uses it) Tyler got her a Little Mermaid phone, (which she loves) Grandma and Grandpa got her some cute clothes and so did Aunt Nikki. Jayne out did us all. She got her a swimming pool with a slide. I am so excited to use it tomorrow. It is suppose to be in the ninety's. Jared and Nikki let Raquel play in her cake. She had the biggest smile on her face it was cute.

Jared's Birthday

Its the big 27 for Jared. We got him a Nintendo Wii and a big cheese cake. (his favorite). The Wii has been so fun to play. Jared is already a professional tennis player. Its pretty amazing to watch him play.

Our New Home

So After shopping for 5 months we finally found a home. It is in Draper just up the street from us. I am so excited because we will be here for quite some time. No more moving after it is fixed up. Oh and that is the best part. It is completely finished. YEAH. We close on it May 29th. So if the inspection goes well then there will be no problems. Yah We are even thinking about getting Tyler and Raquel a giraffe to put in the dog kennel. LOL

3)Running takes the pain away from my None existing Gallbladder.

8)To be able to say I did it.
9)I am already a third through my training program.
10) Because I was just drawn to run the St. George Marathon. (I never get drawn for anything)
