Halloween at the Library

I love the Library. Not only is it free but fun. Tyler and Raquel got to do a story time then make crafts then trick or treat to about 10 different desks. We are most certainly going to get our use in with these costumes. This year Raquel is a Pink Dinosaur and Tyler is a Transformer, Optimus Prime.

Daniel's Farm

The Field trip this time was at Daniel's Farm. They had Hay Mazes,
Pumpkins,
A Petting Farm,
Tractor Wheel Swings,

A Train of Horses Pulled by a Tractor,
Horse Swings,
A Fort,
Peddling Tractors,
And instead of sand pits it was corn pits.

This is one of the best farms that we have been to and plan on coming here a lot more.

My Favorite Time of the Year

Once a year since we have been here Aunt Jeane Ann and Uncle Pete have come to visit. I look forward to it every time and hope they continue to come while we are here. HINT HINT. lol
We went to Daniel Boons Home and it was enjoyable. It was the first time through the village.

Aunt Jeane Ann Teaching Raquel how to break in. LOL jk

The Chapel of Peace
Its a good thing that sheep can't jump or they might get out.
I would expect nothing less. Uncle Pete playing football with Tyler.

Roots N Blues Half Marathon

I do one once a year and this one fell on my birthday. I know its crazy to wake up on your birthday and run 13.1 miles. Not to mention that there are 365 days in a year and out of those days I just happen to be sick again on race day. This is the 2nd race I have ran while sick. So annoying but I'd rather run it sick then have to sign up for another race. However, this race was a tough one. I never knew there was so many hills in Missouri. There was a 2 mile strip of flat trail other then that it was up or down. My quads and hamstrings hurt by the the end. Needless to say I finished.
By the way, I'm the one in purple.
