Bike Ride Bonanza

The Sandy Police Dept. put on a Bike Ride Bonanza to teach kids all about the safety on a Bike and gave out free helmets. We took Tyler and Raquel. Raquel was obviously to little to ride a bike but we got her a helmet anyways. Tyler just flinstoned it on his bike. He does not quite know how to peddle yet. He loved his helmet so much that he would not take it off for at least 2hrs.

Raquels First Flight

Raquel went on her first plane ride when her and I flew to Arizona. She did pretty good on the way there, just slept most the way seeing how it was six in the morning. She really enjoyed meeting her cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents for the first time. She really enjoyed Troy. But from what I hear everyone likes Troy. on the flight home she just looked out the window at all the lights trying to figure things out. She finally fell asleep when we landed. Tyler woke her up when we got home and she was so excited to see him, it was so cute. Tyler kept giving everyone huggs and kisses for about ten minutes. I think he really missed us. Once Raquel saw her father she jumped to him and laid on him the rest of the night. All and all it was fun.

Mema

This past weekend Raquel and I flew down to Arizona for my Grandmothers (Mema) funeral. It was a bitter sweet thing. I will miss her dearly. However I know that she is in a better place. I will also miss the wonderful things she has done for me and the great example she as been in my life. I can only pray that I will be half as good as her.

The Joys of Working from Home

It has been about two months since Jared started his Corpron Consulting Business. It has been so great. He does business consulting in Heating and Air. The kids love having him around allot, and so do I. Little Raquel has just fallen in love with her Dad. She is so much a Daddy's girl. Tyler is always hanging around him and will copy Jared's every move. This picture was taken after the kids decided Daddy needed a break from work.

Egg Decorating

We did our egg decorating and egg hunt on Saturday. Tyler had tons of fun. All he wanted to do were stickers. Probably because it was the easiest way for him.

My First Tooth

Well it is about time. Raquel finally got her first tooth. She is ten months old. Tyler had his first at six months, I guess that why it seemed to take forever with her..
