Exploring the Neighborhood

This duck or goose what ever you call it would not leave Raquel alone. It followed her down the street. As you can see she is telling it to stop.

Who knew this was just down the road from us (literally a block away). Actually it is on the other side of the road from our church building. It is called the wet lands. Absolutely gorgeous. There are 3 different ponds with docks, and horse property surrounds it. So you get the ducks and the horses at the same time. I also hear there is lots of deer and raccoons hiding there. A great new place to go running.

A Mothers Greatest Fear

I woke up one morning and could not find Raquel anywhere. My heart skipped a couple of beats. I frantically woke Jared and we look through the whole house. We finely found her asleep under her bed. I guess it was more comfortable there.

New Favorite Seat

We just started to baby sit a 8 month old, so we got all of our baby things out again. Raquel decided that the walker is hers.

Christmas

She got her doll later that night at grandmas.

Christmas Eve at Grandmas and Grandpas.

Our little Cowboy

We got Raquel a dinning set and put the suckers on the table. She was more excited about the suckers then the gift.

Tyler's big gift, Spike is his name. Tyler and Raquel were so afraid of him when Jared put it together. They both jumped on the couch. Raquel clung to her grandpa and Tyler was on Jared. When Tyler got the controller he would stand on the opposite side of the room of spike and when he pushed the walk button he screamed and ran. Raquel and Tyler are both use to him now. They really think he is real and pet him. I guess we don't need to worry about getting them a dog anytime soon. LOL

Christmas Eve at Grandmas and Grandpas.

He sure loves Tricky Nikki

When we pulled out Tyler big gift he got all sort of excited. I honestly think he knew what it was. He stood next to it and told me to take a picture.

4 Years Down and Forever to Go!

Then

Now
I can't believe it has already been 4 years since Jared and I married. Time sure does fly. Our anniversary was the 11Th of this month. It seems like we have been together much longer then that, and I don't mean in a bad way either. Here are some fun facts about us:

Met July of 04

Got married December of 04 at the Salt Lake Temple

Herald B. Lee's Son in-law married and sealed us. Elder Goats was his name.

The whole wedding and pictures took 2 hrs.

Went on our honey moon in Trujillo Peru 3 months later

Found out we were pregnant with Tyler there

Jared proposed on our 6Th month anniversary and that is when I got my ring
(better late then never)

Okay so we are not the traditional kind of people. However, we get things done. The past 4 years have been so fun and adventurous. I am so glad I am with Jared for all eternity and would not change a thing. Love ya tons Babe!

The Big 3

Tyler's birthday was last Saturday. Time sure does fly. We got him a big dump truck that makes lots of noises (what was I thinking). Tucker is the dog in the picture, Jayne's dog but Tyler's best friend. Who says you have to own a dog for it to be your best friend? Tyler loved putting Tucker in the Truck and pushing him around the house. Tucker actually loved it. He also got Clothes that he loved, cars he could not put down and the Kung Fu Panda movie which played none stop today. Tyler Just had the biggest smile on his face when he got to blow out the candles. I hope this next year goes by a bit slower.

Thanksgiving

This year was a small Thanksgiving but with tons of food and love. I made my first pie and Greenbean cassoral. It tasted so good. Maybe I will claim those items every year (LOL). I am just so proud because I am usually given simple things after my sweet potato incident. We spent Thanksgiving at Kay's place with Jared's mom and stepdad and Nikki. It was so enjoyable and laid back. And it only took five minutes to drive there.

I am so thankful for my family and for the joy they bring to my life every day. I am so Thanksful for the gospel and for the promise it has for me to be with my loved ones for all eternity. I am most grateful for my Savior and Redeemer who has made that possible for me. I'm thankful to live in Utah and be near family and have the beautification that it brings. I am grateful for a supporting husband who is always there for me and for my friends and for the joy and fun they bring to my life. And last but not least, I am thankful to be an American and live in this beautiful country and for the those who fight for it.

Happy Thanksgiving!
