Final Game

This is a rare sight. Tyler and Malachi are usually throwing grass on each other or playing tag.

Every now and again Tyler would just jump in and start playing for a few minute and then be done.
And of course the participation trophy

Little Raquel was disappointed that she did not get a trophy so I gave her one of mine. No worries it is in good hands. she love admiring it more then playing with it. Tyler already broke his. LOL I hope glue works this time.

Happy 2nd Birthday Raquel

We got her a bike for her Birthday but she still wants Tyler's bike all the time.

Tyler's gift to her.

Yeah, she is 2 and still sweet. Her birthday was friday the 15th and she knew it was her day. She just kept telling Tyler "No, Mine". She sure has grown. Well kind of. Lets say more mentally then physically. I say that because she is so tiny. Its a good thing her uncle paul made her a belt because nothing would fit her waist. Her 12 month clothes finely fit her but she is still in a size 3 diaper.

She was so excited to open her gifts. We did the gifts in bags, so she would take each tissue paper out one at a time and lay it nice and neat on the floor. That went on for a bit until Tyler could not wait any more and started helping.

28 And Going Strong!

It was very difficult to get them to hold still.

If you say dinosaur, Tyler will growl.

Last Tuesday was Jared's 28th birthday. The kids wanted to get him dinosaurs for the longest time. So I took them to the store to pick them out. As soon as Jared opened his gifts the kids grab the dinosaurs and started playing with them. Tyler thinks everyone needs a dinosaur and well let just say I already know what I am getting for my birthday. :)

Jared loved it by the way especially the cheese cake afterwards.

A New Thing

Go Tyler

Even though she does not have a jersey on she will not let the ball in the net.

Look who is #9. Okay so I may have done that on purpose.

All the parents were cheering Tyler after a great throw.

Tyler started soccer a couple of weeks ago. It took him a couple of game before he got the hang of it. However we still have to bribe him with something to get him to play. Some game are great others are not so great. Little Raquel just loves it. I think she has a lot of her mother in her. LOL. We can not keep her off the field or out of the goal. She warms up with Tyler's team and everything.

Angel Moroni

Tyler has been wanting to go see the Draper Temple for a while now. So after his soccer game this morning we drove around the temple. When we got there his eye got really big and he ask "Who is that on top of the temple?" I giggled a bit about the way he said it. I explained that is was Angel Moroni. He then said, "WOW, he is big. What does he have?" I then told him that it was a trumpet. He just kept saying WOW that is big. I did not take him to the open house because I did not think he would understand. But after today I am most defiantly taking him to the Oquirre Mountain Temple open house in June. He will really enjoy that.

The Joys of the Unexpected

I Had the great experience of going to the Draper Utah Temple dedication last Friday. Temples are amazing but to see the prophet in the Temple is even more amazing. A few of the hundreds of people attending were randomly chosen to set in the celestial room with the Prophet. Yes I was one of them. It was so neat to be there and to hear the words spoken and the music that was sung by a small chore sounding as big at the Tabernacle Chore. It was one of the most amazing things to experience in my life!

Exploring the Neighborhood

This duck or goose what ever you call it would not leave Raquel alone. It followed her down the street. As you can see she is telling it to stop.

Who knew this was just down the road from us (literally a block away). Actually it is on the other side of the road from our church building. It is called the wet lands. Absolutely gorgeous. There are 3 different ponds with docks, and horse property surrounds it. So you get the ducks and the horses at the same time. I also hear there is lots of deer and raccoons hiding there. A great new place to go running.
