3 Years 3 Stitches

What better way to spend the day after your 3rd Birthday. In the Hospital getting 3 Stitches. She was running around just before church and fell into the fire place. If it weren't for her loving father she would of gotten a band aid and lots of loves.

The Big 3

Happy Birthday to my little Girl. It is a bitter/sweet thing to have you youngest turn 3. She keeps telling me that she is going to be a mommy when she gets big and last night she really thought she would be a mommy on her birthday because she would be a big girl now. I will wait to tell her what it is that really makes her one.
We had a Dora the Explorer Party, a small one that is. She had 2 of her friends over and Tyler.
These are her red classes that she has wanted for a month now.

Here she was hugging her brother for the my little pony gift he got her.
Blowing the candle out.
It was raining outside so we did a pinata. The kids loved it and Jared only got hit a couple of times.

The other game was jumping on the bed. Don't tell Grandma. :) Its not something I let them do so that is why it was so much fun. What was I suppose to do? It was unexpectedly raining.
And of course her Dora bike
And back pack. Did I mention that she really likes Dora?

And of course the final picture.
Thanks for all of you who made her day special, even the phone calls.

Field Trip to the Zoo

Tyler's school had a field trip at the zoo. I usually go so Raquel can go too. However I will never go to the zoo on a field trip again. Having to keep track of 25 toddlers in a place where there is another 20 field trips are is just not a smart thing to do . Besides it is much more enjoyable if the kids don't have to fight to see something.
My little girl is the one in the pink shirt.
Games to keep the kids together while the teachers figure things out.

Spring Is In The Air

We are proud to announce our new addition to our yard. I can't wait for the kids to wake up so I can show them.
6:30 this morning there was a rainbow too.

Easter

Easter did not feel much like Easter this year, probably because it fell on General Conference. We did our egg coloring and hunting on Saturday. The kids had a blast. During the hunt they only wanted the real eggs not the plastic ones so they would step right over them claiming they did not want that one.
We wanted to keep Easter centered around Christ so we told them the Easter Bunny was going to bring things to help them remember Jesus Christ and what he has done for us. We also did an Easter dinner with a chicken salad. I really liked it. It was simple and enjoyable.

What Money Can Buy

We got tired of the kids always asking for toys at the store so one day Tyler wanted a toy. I told him I would get him one if he bought it. That is if he gave me the money he earn at home. He willingly agreed. However when we got home he was not to fond of giving me his hard earn money. After that he never asked for a toy again. He decided to save for a bike and when it came time to buying a toy or saving for his bike he chose his bike. We would pay him with quarters every time he did chores. He saved for four months with a grand total of 50 dollars. We decide since he was only four that we would pitch in the extra money.

Tyler says this is his super speed bike because it is a lightning McQueen bike. I am so proud of him and excited because that is one less kid to push while I run.
The next thing he is saving for is......Well I promised I would not tell so you will just have to wait.

Ogden Dinosaur Museum

Our last stop before heading back to Missouri. We brought their cousin Taylor with us. This park is made up of status and a few robotic dinosaurs. It is a really fun place to take the kids and have a picnic.

Taylor, Tyler and Raquel

This Is a little to much for kids.

This is a slide. You climb up the beak and slide down the back.
